History of the Tennis Bracelet
The Tennis Bracelet first came about after an incident at the 1987 U.S Tennis Championships involving Chris Evert, a professional USA tennis player whose career stemmed from 1972 to 1989. During a US Open match, she was wearing an in-line diamond bracelet while playing one of her matches, and the clasp broke. She asked for the match to be suspended until the bracelet was found. Due to this incident, the bracelet became known as a diamond tennis bracelet.
Tennis bracelets are often now called line bracelets and can be a single row, double row or even triple row set with diamonds or gemstones.
It is important that your wrist should be measured as most line bracelets may have to be sized, which may necessitate removing a few collets. It is also very important that there is a double safety clasp for security.
Flexi Bracelets
The flexi bracelets are available claw set and rubover set with round brilliants, the latter offers protection from knocks and abrasions. There is a flexi bracelet set with princess cut diamonds.
